I lived and worked in London for many years as a trained Actress. With a background in Dance, I became quite fascinated with the beautiful movements and creative sequencing of Vinyasa Flow Yoga. Having experienced quite a lot of back pain in my teens - I was instantly drawn to the concept of building both strength and flexibility - without the sense of ‘forcing' my body.
The more Yoga became a part of my life - the more I realised it was far more than just movement. It enabled me to truly turn inwards - allowing me to ‘think’ a little less and ‘accept’ a little more.
After a few years of juggling two very different careers - I concluded that Yoga made me far happier than the Acting Industry. I trained as a teacher in London (10 years ago) - flew off to teach in the beautiful Palolem Beach in Goa, India - and arrived back home 6 months later with far too many harem pants and a huge amount of teaching experience!
My teaching style is influenced by Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. My creative sequences combine mindful movement with conscious breathing - always aiming to build both strength and flexibility in a dynamic, yet unhurried way.
I aim to create a motivating and light-hearted atmosphere in all my classes. With many years of teaching experience - I strive to ensure my classes are accessible for beginner students and challenging for the more experienced Yogis. I provide a full, well-rounded practice in each class - with options to take it easy and options to build a sweat! (View my group class schedule)
Since having my first child, I also became fascinated by the power of Yoga during pregnancy, birth and Motherhood. I became eager to support and empower my pregnant students with their individual journeys - and further trained in Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga to deepen my knowledge. I am forever inspired by the commitment and energy of my students. Therefore, I continue to learn, train and study - enabling me to teach from a place of skill, awareness, and personal experience.
